Birth of the QUOTEX ACADEMY!
Today we are launching our first e-learning module. We would like to respond to the various requests we have received regarding the provision of educational resources.
Always at the cutting edge of technology, we did not want to limit ourselves to producing the endless spiral user manuals or a possible “QDV7 for dummies!” »: you are better than that.
We therefore opted for the format presented below.
We are counting on your collaboration and your feedback, which we hope will be numerous, to help us make these next resources the essential complement to your perfect mastery of QOL7.
Why this module?
Without good support, the most powerful price research software (yes, I assure you!) that is QDV7 is not much and will not allow you to benefit from its many features.
Your solution administrators within your company have generally followed training allowing them to configure QDV7 to your needs. It is probably quite different for your users.
They, immersed in a very busy daily life, must have tips and educational resources available at any time to allow them to train as needed and at the appropriate time.
This is why we have built this first module which should allow us to understand your expectations regarding this training method.
Why this format?
Where could I have put my QDV7 training manual? Yes, a paper manual is certainly effective but above all you need to have it available when you need it. It's not easy to take your 150-page manual with you, and as a bedside book there's something better. (I recommend, for example, “Submission” by Houelebecq).
The possibilities offered by e-learning and in particular solutions such as Adobe Captivate which we used for the production of this module, make it possible to simulate the use of the software, to test knowledge while offering a fluid and light format.
We have deliberately excluded any video or audio sequences which are often annoying for those around the learner and require additional equipment (headphones, speakers, etc.). These formats also have the disadvantage of overloading the bandwidth and a good bit rate for optimal viewing quality is often not guaranteed.
What do we want to offer?
We want to provide your users (initially) with educational resources allowing them to make the best use of their version of QDV7. All the usual functionalities for making a quote from A to Z will gradually be covered. The next modules we have thought of are: the integration of a DPGF file, the use of price libraries.
Obviously this will take a little time and we especially want to collect your opinion because you are (we hope) the most interested.
We therefore await your advice, your feedback on similar experiences, etc.
Secondly, we would like to provide other resources for solution administrators. This would be a complement to face-to-face training.
Based on this experience, we could why not offer to create similar modules but based on your own settings.
We therefore let you discover this module and we thank you in advance for devoting a little time to the questionnaire which follows it in the demonstration.
