Nexecur Protection: the specialist in remote monitoring

Nexecur Protection is the security subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group specializing in remote monitoring, remote assistance and alarm systems for individuals and professionals.

Its 750 employees work every day to offer protection solutions adapted to the needs of their 168,000 customer subscribers.

The specificity of their estimates is that they have quotes with a wide disparity in level of complexity (from 10 to more than 100 lines), combining numerous materials, accessories and labor. These estimates must be integrated into very comprehensive commercial offers including both service and rental offers (LOA / LLD) and documents meeting legal obligations (general conditions of sale, analysis of needs and risks, etc.).

The challenge: saving time for field sales teams while avoiding errors.

Nexecur was looking for a solution to replace its old pricing research software. The latter suffered from the impossibility of implementing business rules which could have accelerated the encryption process and limited errors.

In addition, the tool offered an unfriendly interface.

Finally, it lacked features allowing better reporting for management on current business and margin levels.

The solution: QDV7

The company selected the QDV7 quoting software and support from Quotex for configuration. In the end, the many desired features were implemented, including:

  • Connecting QDV to the ERP (to retrieve associated items and prices) and to the CRM (to retrieve customer data)

  • The implementation of works with configurators and business rules which allow:
    • to present a clearer and user-friendly interface including only the elements necessary for the type of project to be estimated,
    • automatically add associated items (accessories, labor) when

      selection of equipment.

  • Automatic generation of the commercial proposal including the costing nomenclature elements by completing them with:
    • An LOA or LLD offer on the equipment,
    • A service proposal for remote monitoring or maintenance,
    • Mandatory legal documents (CGV, restitution of the needs and risks study, etc.).

  • Rights management with fine granularity: the user only sees their projects, their superior can see all of the projects that their team manages, management can have access to additional information, etc.

The results: great flexibility and time savings

Nexecur now has a flexible and scalable encryption tool.

It allows field salespeople to save time with user-friendly configurators and the export of a complete commercial offer in just a few clicks. These configurators ensure that all the elements necessary to carry out an installation are taken into account.

Management can better analyze current offers (turnover and level of profitability) to better manage the commercial pipeline.

Regional managers in charge of installation teams can have an instant view of current and upcoming projects to optimize schedules.

The design office, in charge of administering QDV, can intervene to manage exceptions on more complex quotes. Above all, they have the autonomy necessary to evolve the configuration of the software and thus respond to the changing needs of the sales force.
