The creation of Quotex
Quotex was created in 2011 by Joachim Ménager. When he was technical-commercial, he looked for solutions to improve the process of commercial proposals and quotes for his business.
He therefore decided to found Quotex (“Quotation Expert”) and selects the best solutions to offer construction, industrial and engineering companies the means to be more effective and efficient.
Quotation software integrator: QDV
Since 2010 Quotex has specialized in a pre-sales solution QDV (Quick Quote) dedicated mainly to the sectors of Industry and Building Public Works
QDV allows us to meet the specific needs linked to the price study and the drafting of commercial offers with the aim of saving you time and reducing the risk of errors . Indeed, QDV allows you to clearly organize your commercial offers. Between CRM and ERP, QDV saves time for your salespeople when preparing quotes and offers you an easy-to-use interface.
3D simulation software integrator: Visual Components
We are also the first French integrator of Visual Components , the Finnish 3D simulation software for production and logistics flows .
We decided to integrate Visual Components into our offering to help system integrators and machine builders work more efficiently. Visual Components offers you the ability to design and plan your production lines . In addition, this 3D simulation software will save you considerable time. Thanks to Visual Components, you will be able to accelerate your sales while optimizing your production lines .
Our ambitions
We want to expand our presence in the Vendée region . Within Quotex, we plan to create two Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to better serve our clients: one for the construction sector and another specializing in industry . Depending on our clients' sectors, the solutions and services we provide will differ. In the construction sector, for example, we are working to integrate the concept of total cost of ownership (TCO) during the preliminary design phase. This allows us to have a comprehensive accounting view of a building's value over 50 years, for instance, by considering not only construction costs but also integration, operation, maintenance, and deconstruction.
Another ambition is to develop our export business . Closer to home, we were fortunate enough last year to secure a contract with a successful French mid-sized company that has expertise in fruit and vegetable grading lines. In January, we will be equipping their Spanish branch located in Valencia, and this will be an opportunity for us to establish a presence there.
