In 2019, we are adding a string to our bow with the 3D simulation solution, VISUAL COMPONENTS.
At the end of January, we followed an intensive 3-day training course on the solution in order to discover its many facets.
Program and results of the 3 days of training
At the end of the first morning, we installed an end of the box palletizing line. The quick handling and the library of more than 2,000 products allow you to move very quickly on creating an implementation. ( First step on VISUAL COMPONENTS )
In the afternoon of the first day, we discussed the more commercial aspects and in particular certain customer cases which can also be found on the VISUAL COMPONENTS website. For example, we can cite a testimony from a company which was able to go from 50 commercial offers per month to 250 thanks to VC. Amazing, right? ( Fastems case study )
The second day was dedicated to the animation of a special machine. A machine manufacturer can add their own machines designed in 3D design software to their VC library. He can thus integrate them into installations.
VC not only makes it possible to move very quickly in setting up industrial process and handling facilities of any size but also makes it possible to validate cycles. Indeed, equipped with a powerful statistical tool, we can validate the capacity of a production line, check bottlenecks and confirm technical choices.
The marketing department is not left out because VC allows you to create animated PDFs, videos with different points of view as well as exports that can be reworked in Blender for renderings worthy of video games for trendy salespeople. Gamer. ( VC YouTube channel )
On the third day, we explored the programming possibilities in Python as well as the more advanced features of the Premium version for process needs: welding, painting, etc.
A sustained pace provided by Roberto in great shape and perfectly mastering his subject.
Next stop: Partners day in Finland
The next step proposed by Visual Components is a visit to their premises in Finland on the occasion of “Partners Day”. At the end of February, we are going to put on our down jacket and mittens and head to the far North to meet mainly European distributors and the VC teams.
We have planned a few technical workshops to discuss specific projects that we wish to develop around VC: interoperability with Quickdevis our pricing tool and the adaptation of VC for bulk handling installations.

INDUSTRIE LYON exhibition in March.
It's been a long time since we exhibited at a show and we will be making our big return to the INDUSTRIE show from March 5 to 8 in Lyon on VC stand number 4E61 . Here is a preview of the stand where we will welcome you. There will even be a virtual reality space so you can walk around industrial facilities. It is desirable, no ?
