Interview with Nadim

What is your background?

Young graduate of ECAM Rennes , where I had the opportunity to do a work-study program in the automotive industry. I was able to develop my skills in project management as well as the optimization and ergonomics of diverse and varied production lines.

How did you find out about Quotex?

Nadim: I learned about Quotex through WeForge. I heard about a start-up business incubator in Angers.

My first experience in the world of industry was in a company with an international dimension, I wanted to join a start-up in order to discover the entrepreneurial spirit.
When I met Joachim by chance in the corridors of WeForge and he presented the Visual Components software to me, I found it extremely interesting in responding to the challenges of manufacturers in Industry 4.0. I therefore decided to take on this great challenge.

What are your missions within Quotex?

I am responsible for the marketing, integration and training of 3D design and simulation software, Visual Components throughout France.

This software allows you to design, test and simulate production tools (in 2D, 3D and Virtual Reality) in a virtual universe in order to reduce costs and time dedicated to these missions.

What are your passions ?

I play American Football with the Angers Yankees . This intense sport allows me to work in a team as well as to sharpen my competitive spirit.

Skills that I think are important within Quotex.

Interview with Joachim

How did your meeting with Nadim go ?

One Friday in November I saw this young man who had just returned to Weforge and who seemed lost. I went to meet him to guide him.

That's when he told me that he had just finished his engineering studies and was looking for a sales position.

Did you post an ad to recruit a salesperson?

Not at all, I had this idea in mind but it's always complicated to enter into a recruitment process.

Nadim happened to be in the right place at the right time. His approach to introducing himself made the difference because it is precisely the characteristic of a salesperson to reach out to others to sell (himself).

How is his integration going within QUOTEX?

Leaving an engineering background to become a salesperson is not easy. There are many preconceived ideas about the work of salespeople within companies.

Before validating his recruitment, we surrounded ourselves with experts to validate Nadim's professional project within QUOTEX and verify that he had the aptitude to become a good salesperson.

Violaine from RHMEE received Nadim for a job interview, bringing an outside and professional recruitment perspective.

Then we asked Vincent Faurie from AC2V to do an interview with Nadim to give him the foundations of the digital solutions sales profession.

I would personally like to thank Violaine and Vincent for their valuable help and advice.

What are Nadim’s first results?

VISUAL COMPONENTS is a fairly easy software to approach and it is through the technical mastery of the tool that Nadim began.

We have already carried out training for customers in conjunction with the Finnish Visual Components team but also on our own, in particular at the ESME SUDRIA engineering school.

Furthermore, during the inauguration of TECHNOCAMPUS on December 10, Nadim put on his salesman costume for the first time and it went rather well with around fifteen leads, some very promising.

At your side to meet your specific needs for price studies, drafting commercial offers and overall management of your business. Salespeople and estimators must focus on taking orders, not on developing a costing tool. This is where QUOTEX comes in.
